Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys and girls cross-country teams will compete in the 2025 IHSAA Sectional #21 meet this Saturday, October 18, hosted by Brown County High School. Races will be held at Brown County’s Eagle Park, located on State Road 46 about 1.5 miles east of the high school. The boys race begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by the girls race at 11:15 a.m.. The awards ceremony will take place around noon. Fans attending the meet should note that admission is $8 per person, with both cash and card accepted at the gate. Parking is available on-site for both cars and buses, and IHSAA sectional T-shirts will be sold at the event. The top five teams and the top 15 individuals from non-advancing teams will qualify for the Regional meet at Evansville Mater Dei’s Angel Mounds. The field will include 14 teams: Brown County, Columbus East, Columbus North, Edgewood, Eminence, Greensburg, Hauser, Jennings County, Martinsville, Monrovia, North Decatur, Seymour, South Decatur, and Trinity Lutheran.
