The Columbus East boys soccer team went on the road to New Albany Saturday morning and came home with more than just a victory—they secured their second straight Hoosier Hills Conference championship. In a hard-fought 2-1 battle against the Bulldogs, the Olympians showed grit and composure to claim the outright HHC crown. Christian De Dios opened the scoring for East with a goal assisted by Ronan Maier, while Ryan Turner delivered the eventual game-winner off a setup from Jonathan Sylva. The victory not only capped a strong conference run but also etched the Olympians’ name in the record books with back-to-back HHC titles.
