East Volleyball Comes Up Short Against Providence

Providence H.S. - The Columbus East volleyball team ran into a tough challenge Tuesday night, falling in straight sets to perennial power Providence, 25-22, 25-15, 25-7. Kadence Miller led the Olympians with 10 digs and two aces, while Addy Dean added six kills and two blocks. Payten Osborn set up the offense with 12 assists to go along with six digs and an ace. Also contributing for East were Chloe Gill with five kills, Lilah Klei with three blocks, and Kenlee Gault with three assists. The Olympians will look to regroup as they continue Hoosier Hills Conference play tonight (9/24) when they face another tough matchup with the Floyd Central Highlanders.
