The Columbus East girls golf team wrapped up its 2025 season Monday afternoon at the IHSAA Sectional held at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington, IN. Battling through wet conditions, the Olympians posted a team score of 449 to finish in seventh place, just outside of regional contention. Abby King and Calleigh Gill paced East with matching rounds of 104. Amaylie Walsh carded a 120, followed closely by Emma Gill at 121 and Sofia Perez with a 124. Although the Olympians did not advance to the Franklin Regional, the effort marked the end of another competitive fall for the program. Martinsville, Bloomington North, and Edgewood secured the three advancing team spots. Thank you Olympians for a great season!
