Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls soccer team was defeated 5-0 by Greenwood on Monday night at the Richard Wigh Soccer Complex. The Woodmen opened the scoring on a corner kick and then found the net three more times in a three-minute span during the first half. Greenwood carried a 4-0 lead into halftime and added its final goal in the 45th minute. Columbus East will be back on the field Wednesday for a Hoosier Hills Conference contest at Jennings County before traveling to Hauser on Thursday.
