Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls soccer team traveled to Floyd Central on Saturday morning for a Hoosier Hills Conference matchup, where the Olympians came up short in a 7-1 decision against the Highlanders. Columbus East’s lone goal came from sophomore Sophie Glick, who found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Emma Christie. The O’s won’t have to wait long to bounce back, as they return home on Monday, September 15, to host Greenwood High School. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. when the Olympians face the Woodmen.
