Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys cross-country team continued their season Saturday morning, competing against a strong field at the Columbus North Classic Invitational. The Olympians finished 18th overall with a team score of 536. Senior Norman Dickson set the pace for East, racing to a 39th-place finish in 16:20.02. He was followed by Elijah Clore, who crossed the line in 17:40.12 to take 116th. Lorren Westerfeld (127th, 17:46.97) and Riley Wilson (134th, 17:50.21) ran close behind, while Maddox Hult rounded out the scoring for the Olympians in 201st with a 16:46.78 effort. East will return to action next Saturday, September 13, when the team travels to compete in the Eagle Classic, scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m at Brown County High School.
