Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team turned in one of their strongest performances of the season Wednesday evening at Sunrise Golf Course in Madison. Despite the effort, the Olympians came up short against the host Madison Cubs, falling 204–216. Abby King paced East with a team-low round of 51. Calleigh Gill was close behind with a 52, followed by Emma Gill at 56, Amaylie Walsh at 57, and Sofia Perez with a 64. The Olympians return to action Tuesday, September 2, when they take on Trinity Lutheran.
