Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys soccer team went toe-to-toe with Class 3A No. 16 Castle on Saturday at the BCSC Soccer Complex. The Olympians put together a determined effort, but the Knights slipped away with a narrow 1-0 victory. In the junior varsity contest, East earned a 1-1 draw as Miguel Ferrer found the back of the net for the Olympians. Columbus East returns to action Tuesday, August 26, when they host Bloomington South at the BCSC Soccer Complex. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
