Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls cross-country team turned in an impressive showing Saturday morning at the BC Harrier Classic Invitational at Eagle Park, hosted by Brown County High School. Four Olympians broke their personal records from last season. Ainslee Shaw led the team with a time of 22:52, followed closely by Elizabeth Sztaba at 22:53, who cut nearly a full minute off her previous best. Brooke Newell (24:20) trimmed more than two minutes from her last race, while Trinity Burns (26:03) improved by over a minute. Adding to the strong day, Eleanor Dickson, Jordan Wolfe, Marleigh Stidham, and Emma Schuette also posted season-best performances.
