Olympians Take Second in HHC Trimatch at Shadowood G.C.

The Columbus East boys golf team turned in a solid performance Monday evening, earning second place in a Hoosier Hills Conference trimatch at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour. New Albany claimed the team title with a score of 165, while the Olympians edged host Seymour by a single stroke, 173-174. Senior Mason Reeves led the way for Columbus East, firing a team-best 40. Carter Greene followed closely with a 42, and Braxton Burton contributed a 45. Ethan Bumbalough and Danny Coriden each shot 48, while Jackson Miller rounded out the scoring with a 52. The Olympians will look to build on their momentum as they face their cross-town rivals, the Columbus North Bulldogs, on Thursday, May 8th, starting at 4 p.m. Location: Otter Creek G.C.
