On a rain-filled Thursday evening under the lights at Olympians Field, the Columbus East baseball team delivered a steady, composed performance in a 12-2 win over the Decatur Central Hawks. The game ended after five innings via the mercy rule, with the Olympians taking control in the middle innings and never looking back.
