Columbus East High School

The Columbus East Olympians put together a steady performance at their latest meet, with senior Sophia Begley and sophomore Bethany Lewis delivering key routines. Sophia had a strong night, achieving a personal best on vault, hitting no-fall routines on bars and beam, and successfully adding a new skill on floor —a great step forward in her senior season. Bethany faced a few challenges with falls on floor and beam, but still had a solid meet, placing first on vault, beam, floor, and all-around, along with a second-place finish on bars. The Olympians are back action Monday, February 10th in Bloomington, Indiana were they'll participate in a tri-meet with Bloomington South and Edgewood H.S. Meet time: 6 p.m. Good luck O's!
