The Columbus East boys wrestling team competed Saturday in the 2025 Indiana JV State Duals at Warren Central High School, taking on the top 16 JV squads in Indiana. The Olympians battled through a competitive field, finishing in 9th place after going 3-1 on the day. The tournament began with a heartbreaking first-round loss to Perry Meridian. Both teams tied at 38-38, but forfeits at the 106- and 285-pound weight classes tipped the tie-breaker in favor of Perry Meridian. However, the Olympians bounced back with determination, winning their next three matches against Avon, Fishers, and Carmel.
