Olympians Start Strong but Stumble in Setback to Shelbyville

The Columbus East boys basketball team traveled to Shelbyville High School to take on the Golden Bears on Tuesday evening. Despite a strong start to the game, leading 15-9 after the first quarter, the Olympians fell behind at halftime and were handed a 65-52 defeat, marking only their second loss of the season in 11 games played. Top Scorers: Keaton Lawson led Columbus East with 19 points. Mason Reeves contributed 11 points. Ethan Bumbalough and Carter Patterson each added 8 points. Following the loss, the Olympians’ record stands at 9-2.
