The Columbus East Olympians girls opened the new year on the road as they traveled to Shelbyville, IN to battle the Shelbyville Golden Bears. The O's came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 70-37. Senior Kimberley Carothers lead the Olympians in scoring with 11 points, followed closely by Junior Averie Graham who added 10 points. Sophomore Krea Martin tallied 5 points, with Kenzie Cheek and Lola Watkins each scoring 4 points. Ella Anthis contributed 3 points on the evening.
