On New Years Eve day, the Columbus East JV wrestling team delivered a strong showing at the New Albany Invitational. The team's determination and hard work were evident in their performances, with standout achievements across multiple weight classes. Key Performers: Brian Findley (132 lbs, Grade 10): Unstoppable with a perfect record of 5-0, showcasing his dominance in the tournament. Mason Eubanks (150 lbs, Grade 10): Also undefeated with a flawless 5-0 record, displaying excellent technique and grit. Ethan Gilley (190 lbs, Grade 10): Another undefeated wrestler, Ethan achieved an impressive 5-0 performance. Aiden Miller (165 lbs, Grade 11): With a strong 5-0 record, Aiden secured his place as a top competitor Notable Records: Ayden Hamm (120 lbs Freshman) A very solid 3-1 showing on the day. Henry McMahon (157 lbs, Grade 9) Another standout performer, Henry earned a 4-1 record in a challenging weight class. Additional Highlights: Brayden Lee (175 lbs, Grade 10): Brayden impressed with a 4-1 record, demonstrating skill and consistency.
