On Friday evening (12/6/24) we celebrated a cornerstone of Columbus East basketball history—Coach Brent Chitty. Over his 13 years at Columbus East, Coach Chitty led the Olympians to 129 victories, cementing his legacy as our all-time winningest coach. His leadership and passion for the game have shaped not only a program but the lives of countless players who wore the Olympian jersey. Coach Chitty, it’s our honor to present you with this commemorative plaque and basketball as a symbol of our gratitude for your 13 incredible years of service to Columbus East. Congratulations, and thank you for everything you’ve done for our school and our community!"
