The Columbus East Olympian boys wrestling team kicked off the 2024-2025 season in dominant fashion, overpowering the Seymour Owls with a commanding 65-10 victory on Wednesday night. The match featured standout performances across weight classes, with the Olympians securing seven wins by fall and two by technical fall. Key Highlights: - **113 lbs:** Ethan Poling pinned Elijah Caudill in just 2:43 to set the tone. - **120 lbs:** Talon Jessup followed with a pin over Jaden Fox at 2:57. - **144 lbs:** Caleb Kirkpatrick showcased his dominance with a 16-1 technical fall. - **175 lbs:** Hank Redman was unstoppable, earning an 18-0 technical fall. - **285 lbs:** Dominic Piper capped the night with a fall in 1:52 over Philip Dacayo. Other Olympian victories included a major decision by Wyatt Behnke (126 lbs), a decision by James Moss (215 lbs), and three forfeits at 132, 157, and 165 lbs.
