In a monumental debut, the Columbus East Olympian girls wrestling team stepped onto the mat for the first time as a varsity team, marking a historic moment for both the school and Indiana high school sports. Competing in their inaugural season, the Olympians started with a pair of impressive victories, defeating Jeffersonville 48-36 and Jennings County 49-24.
