The Columbus East boys soccer team hosted Hoosier Hills Conference rival New Albany Bulldogs on Saturday at the BCSC Soccer Complex and secured an exciting 2-1 victory. The Olympians fought hard throughout the match, with Ian Scholl and Josh VanValkenburg each finding the back of the net to lead East to the win. Assists from Emilio Quintero Aguirre and Luis Ceballos helped set up the decisive goals, pushing Columbus East to an impressive 4-1 record in Hoosier Hills Conference play.
