The Columbus East Olympians girls volleyball team took part in the Lady Irish Invitational in Indianapolis this past Saturday. Despite their efforts, the Olympians dropped all four matches in competitive outings. East faced tough opponents throughout the day, starting with McCutcheon, who won 25-13, 25-23. The Olympians then fell to Silver Creek 25-8, 25-13, followed by Guerin Catholic, who secured a 25-17, 25-16 victory. In their final match, Columbus East fought hard but ultimately lost to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian 25-22, 25-21.
