Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys tennis team traveled to New Albany High School for the final round of the Hoosier Hills Conference tournament, where they were defeated by the Bulldogs 4-0. The final match was called due to rain before it could be completed. Match Results: No. 1 Singles: - Tyler Ernst lost: 6-0, 6-0 No. 2 Singles: - Owen Kirk lost 6-1, 6-2 -No. 3 Singles: - Michael Reed lost 6-0, 6-0 No. 1 Doubles: - Jonas Newell & Carson Hartsook lost 6-0, 6-0 - No. 2 Doubles (unfinished due to rain): - Trevor Ernst & Micah Wettschurack were trailing 5-3 in the first set - Rain That completes the regular season for the Olympians who will open up IHSAA Sectional play as they face the host school, the Columbus North Bulldogs, on Tuesday, October 1st.
