The Columbus East girls volleyball team faced a tough challenge Thursday night, hosting Class 4A No. 3-ranked Floyd Central Highlanders in the Orange Pit. Despite a valiant effort, the Olympians were defeated 25-8, 25-13, 25-17 in the Hoosier Hills Conference matchup.
