The Columbus East Olympian girls golf team finished fifth out of 11 teams with a score of 401 at the 2024 IHSAA Girls Golf Sectional held at Cascades Golf Course in Bloomington, IN. Unfortunately, only the top three teams advance to next weekend's IHSAA Regionals. The Olympians tied for fourth place but were edged into fifth after a tiebreaker, which was determined by the score of the fifth player. However, there’s exciting news for Grace LaSell, who will move on to the IHSAA Regionals as one of the top three individual scorers from a non-qualifying team. Congratulations, Grace!
