Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team competed against cross-town rival Columbus North at Harrison Lake Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon (9/17). Though the Olympians came up short to the Bulldogs, falling 180-211, they put forth a strong effort. Leading the Olympians was Grace LaSell, who fired a round of 49. Abby King followed closely with a 52, while Amaylie Walsh carded a 53. Sophia Begley shot a 57, and Allison Sharpe rounded out the team with a 58. The Olympians are set to bounce back on Wednesday evening (9/18) as they celebrate Senior Night, hosting the Martinsville Artesians at Otter Creek Golf Course. Match time is 5 p.m., and the team looks forward to an exciting evening of competition.
