Olympians Show Resilience in Tough Match Against Greenwood

Despite a challenging start, the Columbus East girls soccer team fought hard in a 4-0 loss against Greenwood on Monday. The Woodmen scored early and outshot the Olympians 20-4, but Columbus East remained resilient. Emma Christie made four saves in the first half, and Cara Veach added five saves in the second, showcasing solid effort in goal for the team. The Olympians lost the JV match 3-0 - Rita Wills had 5 saves for the evening. Columbus East will celebrate Senior Night on Wednesday (9/18) when they host Jennings County Panthers at the BCSC Soccer Complex. Match time: 5:30 p.m.
