Columbus East High School

Columbus East boys tennis competed in the Shelbyville Invitational on Saturday, where they dropped all three matches. The Olympians fell to Shelbyville 5-0, East Central 3-2, and Seymour 5-0. In the match against East Central, Tyler Ernst at No. 1 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Trevor Ernst and Micah Wettschurack secured wins for East. The Olympians had previously lost 5-0 to the Trojans on Wednesday, making the 3-2 result on Saturday a sign of progress. Columbus East continues to gain experience as they near the end of the season. The O's will be back in action Wednesday, September 18th when they head to Greensburg H.S. to face the Pirates. Match time: 4:45 p.m.
