Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls' golf team traveled to Blue Bear Golf Course on Thursday night for a match against the Shelbyville Golden Bears. Despite a strong effort, the Olympians fell just short, losing 197-207. Grace LaSell led the team with an impressive score of 47, earning medalist honors for the match. Supporting her performance, Abby King shot a 51, Sophia Begley recorded a 53, Allison Sharpe posted a 56, Amaylie Walsh finished with a 61, Sofia Perez shot a 63, and Kolbi Stephenson rounded out the evening with a 66. The Olympians will return to action on Tuesday, September 10th, when they travel to Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour, IN, to face the Seymour Owls. The match is set to begin at 4:15 p.m.
