The Columbus East girls cross-country team had a runner-up finish to start their season at South Dearborn H.S. in Saturdays Moores Hill Invite. (5,000m / 3.1 miles) Results for the O's: Madison Swartzentruber placed 5th with a time of 23:55.39, Amelia Fay placed 7th with a 24:09.21 run, Ainslee Shaw finished in 13th place with a time of 25:09.57, Delaney Rogers captured 17th with a time of 25:23.33, Abby Collins with a 22nd place finish 27:15.61, 24th place for Elizabeth Sztaba, and a 25th place finsih for Daphne May 27:59.21 The O's are back in action Wednesday, August 21st as they head to Brown County H.S. to participate in the BCXC Challenge.
