The Columbus East girls golf team once again improved their nine-hole team scoring for the season, but not enough to overcome the Bulldogs of Batesville H.S. falling by a score of 160-214 at Otter Creek G.C. on Monday evening. Leading the way for the O's was Grace LaSell firing a 43, Abby King shooting a 52, Allison Sharpe with a 53, Sophie Begley and Sofia Perez each shot a 61, Amaylie Walsh carded a 63, and freshman Kolbi Stephenson shot a 66 for the evening. The O's are back in action tonight, August 13th, as they head to Jennings County H.S. for a match against the Panthers. Match time: 4:30 p.m.
