Columbus East High School

Columbus East High School has hired a new freshman guidance counselor, Cayden Rooks. Rooks, a former Columbus East student-athlete, wrestled for the Olympians from 2015-2019. He was a two-time IHSAA state champion and had a career 128-5 record for the Olympians. He recently graduated from Indiana University with a degree in psychology. Cayden wrestled at IU, and was named to the 2022-23 National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American team, 2022-23 Academic All-Big Ten team, and competed in the NCAA Wrestling Championships!
