CEHS Girl's Track & Field Win Tri-Meet

The Olympian girls finished in first place in a tri-meet with Shelbyville and Brown County Tuesday night at Stafford Field. The Olympians scored 107 points, with Shelbyville scoring 51, and Brown County finishing with 5 points. Outstanding performers for the O's: Jenna Guse claimed first place in the high jump: 4ft 8 inches Gabbie Meier won the long jump with a jump of 15ft 5 inches Sophia Gallon tossed a 32ft 5 inch shot put throw for first place Grace Lykins threw 89ft 10 inches in the discus to capture 1st place. Taylor Scott blazed in the 100m dash with sprint of 13.39 seconds Sophia Glick ran the 400 in 63.72 seconds, claiming first place. Kai Scott finished in first place in the 300m hurdles with a run of 54.60 seconds. Victoria Cuhadar ran the 800m run with a time of 2:45.93 to claim first place. The 200m was run in 27.37, with O's Carsyn Schlehuser claiming the top time of the evening. The Olympians also swept the 4x100, 4x400, and 4x800 relay races as well! Great job O's!!
