O's Baseball Picks Up Win vs. Batesville

On a beautiful night for baseball, the Olympians maintained the good vides, winning 3-2 over the Batesville Bulldogs. The Olympians received solid pitching performances from Eli Tindell and Blake Borkhardt, with Tindell throwing 4 innings of six hit baseball, giving up two earned runs with a 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts. Relief pitcher, Blake Borkhardt, pitched the final three innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit, no walks, and 4 strikeouts. The two pitchers combined for only 97 pitches thrown during the game. It was a great pitching performance by the O's! The Olympians had seven hits for the game, and stranded eleven runners on base for the evening. Senior Blake Borkhardt hit a line-drive single in the bottom of the sixth to drive home the winning run for the Olympians.
