Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girl's and boy's track and field teams both placed 7th at the East Central Invitational Friday night in St. Leon, Indiana. For the girls: The Olympians captured 2nd place in the 4x100 relay (Jenna Guse, Claire Behnke, Carysyn Schlehuser, and Gabbie Meier) with a time of 51.99. Sophie Glick placed 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 15' 10". Schlehuser was able finish 3rd in the 100m dash with a time of 13.27. For the boys: Jared Brooks placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 140' 9 ".
