The Columbus East Girls and Boys track and field teams both placed 9th at the Columbus North Track & Field Invitational on Saturday morning. Sophie Glick led the girls team with a 2nd place finish at 400m with a time of 1:03.86, with the East 4 x 100m relay team capturing 5th place with a time of 51.65, and Jenna Guse placing 6th in the 400m with a time of 1:04. 69. The boys were led by eight-place finishes from Ryder Meek in the high jump with a jump of 5ft 10 inches, Jared Brooks with a throw of 43' 7" in the shot-put, and the 4x400 relay team with a time of 3:50.12. The girls and boys track and field teams are back in action Tuesday, April 9th, as they head to Shelbyville, Indiana to face the Shelbyville Golden Bears. Meet time: 5:30 p.m. Good luck O's!
