Columbus East High School

The Columbus East Baseball team held a 4-0 lead over the Scottsburg Warriors on Monday night at Scottsburg, but gave up 8 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning and couldn't score any more runs themselves, dropping an 8-4 loss to the Warriors. The O's outhit the Warriors 8-4 in the game, but could only manage the 4 runs. Leading the way for the O's was Marcus Wilkinson who went 3-3 on the day, Chase Niese who had a double and went 2-3, and Blake Borkhardt who had two RBI's and a double for the game. The O's need to rebound quickly as they play HHC opponent, the Seymour Owls, Thursday, April 4th starting at 5:30 p.m. at Olympian Field.
