O's Basketball - Senior Leads the way on Senior Night

The Columbus East boys' basketball team played in their last home game of the season on Monday night against Madison High School, winning against the Cubs 66-60 in the Orange Pit! Leading the way for the Olympians was senior guard Jackson Fischvogt, who dropped a career high 20 points. Fischvogt was joined by his fellow teammates Elum VanEst and Kadin Lobdell in the starting lineup in honor of senior night. The Olympians were able to score a basket by Carter Patterson with under 20 seconds to play in the 4th, pushing the lead 64-60 and Keaton Lawson was able to hit two free throws to close out the game for the O's. East plays Floyd Central on Wednesday, February 21st and then starts Sectional play on Tuesday, February 27th against Columbus North. Stats: Mason Reeves - 13 points, Jackson Fischvogt - 20 points, Danny Coriden - 4 points, Ethan Bumbalough - 2 points, Keaton Lawson - 15 points, & Carter Patterson - 12 points
