Columbus East High School

The Olympians proudly sent 10 talented wrestlers to compete at the Evansville Semi-State. While only one wrestler will move forward to the IHSAA State Championships next weekend, it's a remarkable achievement nonetheless. Talon Jessup, representing the Olympians, showcased exceptional skill in the 106lb. weight class and secured a spot in the finals. Though he finished in 2nd place, narrowly missing the top spot in a fiercely contested match that ended with a close 7-6 decision. Congratulations to Talon for his outstanding performance and we commend all the seniors for their remarkable dedication throughout the season. To our younger wrestlers who competed in the Semis, remember that this experience serves as a valuable steppingstone for your journey in wrestling.
