Prelim results are attached (pdf) In the 200 individual medley, Connelly Furnish of Columbus East claimed the top spot with a time of 2:15.06. Additionally, Furnish secured the second spot in the 500 freestyle (5:18.54) for the Olympians. Columbus East's performance continued with a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:58.93) and a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:47.11). Ali Trueblood demonstrated skill by ranking fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:15.57. Other notable performances from the Olympians include Cassidy Furnish finishing sixth in the 500 freestyle (5:41.88), Abby Proffitt securing eighth place in the 500 freestyle (5:46.33), and Kira VanValkenburg earning eighth place in the 200 IM (2:32.13). In the 200 medley relay, Columbus East claimed the seventh-fastest time of 2:10.67. The diving prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, with the swimming finals, which start at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
