Columbus East High School

In a tight showdown with the Jeffersonville Red Devils, the Columbus East swimming and diving team brought their A-game despite falling short with a score of 100-84. Connelly Furnish was a force on the day, dominating the 200 freestyle (2:01.16) and the 500 freestyle (5:31.09). Gabbie Meier owned the diving board (213.30) and aced the 100 freestyle (59.20). Adding to the excitement, Ali Trueblood nailed the 100 breaststroke (1:19.05), and the team celebrated wins in the 200 freestyle relay (1:49.61) and the 400 freestyle relay (4:03.34). Although the scoreboard didn't swing their way, the Columbus East crew continues to improve with every meet. Good job H2O's!
