Exciting action in the Orange Pit tonight, as the Olympians take down the Panthers of Bloomington South 47-46 in a game that went down to the final seconds! GOOD JOB OLYMPIANS! The O's had an 11-year losing streak to the Panthers, until last night. The O's were consistent on the offensive end and had some big moments on defense to keep B. South off-balance the majority of the evening. The O's had six players in the scoring column, including a timely 3-point shot by Dan Coriden. Keaton Lawson and Carter Patterson carried the offensive load and the O's were able to knock down 7 of 8 free throws compared to the Panthers 9 of 16 free throw shooting- a big key to the game! It was a great TEAM win for the Olympians who look to gain some momentum as the season gets closer to tournament time.
