Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys swimming and diving team won their first meet of the new year by defeating the Beford North-Lawrence Stars 108-75 at Bedford North-Lawrence H.S. The team's standout performances included triumphs by Misha Machavariani in both the 200 IM (2:06.35) and the 100 butterfly (55.44), along with Cavan Stilson's notable victories in the 50 freestyle (22.96) and the 100 freestyle (51.79). Judah Nickoll secured a win in the 200 freestyle (1:52.07), while Gavin Day demonstrated excellence in diving with a score of 254.50. Keaton Stephenson emerged as the victor in the 500 freestyle (5:22.80), Jesse Isaacs dominated the 100 breaststroke (1:13.26), and the team showcased its prowess by winning both the 200 medley (2:08.27) and 400 freestyle (3:33.35) relays.
