Last night's basketball game vs. the Mt. Vernon Marauders proved to be a challenging match-up. Although Columbus East demonstrated a strong start only trailing Mt. Vernon at halftime 23-21, Mt. Vernon had a monster third quarter, scoring 27 points, resulting in a final score of 65-44 for Mt. Vernon. Ethan Bumbalough led the Columbus East team with 22 points, while Keaton Lawson contributed 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals, and Carter Patterson scored eight points.
