Columbus East High School

The Columbus East boys swimming and diving team beat the East Central Trojans 108-77. Top performers: Todd Hundley claimed victory in both the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2 minutes and 8.75 seconds, and the 100 backstroke with a swift time of 57.91. Cavan Stilson showcased impressive skills, securing first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.69 and the 100 freestyle in 49.64. Misha Machavariani went fast in the 100 butterfly, clocking in at 54.64, and dominated the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.97, leading the East boys to success. Adding to the Olympians' triumphs, Judah Nickoll emerged victorious in the 200 freestyle, completing the race in 1:53.02. Gavin Day excelled in the diving competition, earning a notable score of 224.00, while Keaton Stephenson triumphed in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:12.17. The East team further solidified their score by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:43.46 and the 400 freestyle relay in 3:28.89. Good job H2O's!
