Fresh off an emotional triumph on Friday night, the Olympians found themselves thrust into another intense matchup on Saturday against the formidable Scottsburg Warriors, ranked seventh in the state's 3A division. Despite their cross-town victory, the Olympians had little time to revel in success as they embarked on a challenging away game. The first quarter proved to be an uphill battle for the Olympians, trailing 20-8. However, they rallied in the second quarter, managing to establish offensive momentum by scoring 18 points. Heading into halftime, they narrowed the gap to a 10-point deficit. Unfortunately, the third quarter mirrored the struggles of the initial period, with the Olympians only mustering 5 points compared to Scottsburg's 19. Although they played Scottsburg evenly in the fourth quarter, the damage incurred in the first and third quarters proved insurmountable, leading to a final score of 74-51 in favor of Scottsburg. With this defeat, the Olympians now stand at 3 wins and 4 losses for the season. Individual statistics for the Olympians include notable performances: - Mason Reeves: 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists - Jackson Fischvogt: 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists - Keaton Lawson: 3 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks - Danny Coriden: 4 points - Carter Patterson: 8 points, 1 rebound - Ethan Bumbalough: 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals - Alex Duncan: 12 points, 1 assist, 2 steals
