Olympians fall to Class 2A No. 6 Southwestern Hanover

The Olympians ran into a hot-shooting Rebel team, especially in the first half, who dropped six three pointers (and ten for the game) in the 1st quarter and lead at halftime 39-15. At one point in the first half, all of Southwestern points were either made by three pointers or free throws. The Olympians came out of halftime with better intensity and outscored Southwestern during the second half by one point but could not overcome their first half-deficit falling to the Rebels 70-47 in the Orange Pit. Leading the way for the Olympians: Mason Reevs: 11 points Jack Fischvogt: 8 points Kadin Lobdel: 3 points Keaton Lawson: 9 points Carter Patterson: 12 points Three pointers: Reeves - 3, Fischvogt -1, Lobdell- 1, Lawson-1 The Olympians have a solid week of practice before they play on the road at Bedford North-Lawrence, Friday, December 8th with the FR/JV contest starting at 6 p.m. and the varsity contest slated to tip-off at 7:30 p.m. BNL will comes into the game with a record of 1 win & 2 losses. The Stars won at Bloom. North by 4, lost to Bloom. South by seven points and lost to 3A No. 3 Scottsburg by six points.
