The Columbus East Wrestling team goes 4-1 on the day with wins over Tell City, Jeffersonville, Jennings County, Providence, and a loss to 4A #2 Brownsburg. Solid day O's! Nice job!! O's stats: Talon Jessup dominated at 106 pounds, achieving a perfect 5-0 record for East. Other standout performances came from Ethan Poling (113), Gage Rutan (126), Caleb Cooper (144), Nate Anderson (150), Lincoln Cooper (157), and Tyler Lake (175), each securing a commendable 4-1 score. Aiden Miller (132), Caleb Kirkpatrick (138), Clayton Miller (165), Colin McMahon (190), and Dominic Piper (285) also put up a strong fight, finishing with respectable 3-2 records. The female wrestlers from the Olympians participated in the Jeff Duals, with notable performances. Eden Knight excelled at 145 pounds, securing an undefeated 3-0 record. Allison Poole (170), Grace McMahon (190), and Monica McMahon (235) all had strong showings, each finishing with a 2-0 record. Saige Plummer (120) delivered a commendable 3-1 performance, while Taylor Engelking (115) secured a 2-1 record.
