The 3A #6 Columbus East Olympian wrestling team wasted no time Thursday night in Seymour, IN as the Olympians turned in a dominating performance, defeating the Seymour Owls 72-3 in the season opener for the O's. Results for the Olympians: The Olympians showcased their effectiveness across weight classes, with notable victories by pin from Dominic Piper (285), Talon Jessup (113), Gage Rutan (126), Caleb Kirkpatrick (138), Caleb Cooper (144), Nate Anderson (150), Lincoln Cooper (157), Tyler Lake (175), and Colin McMahon (190). Aiden Miller (132) secured a win by injury default. Ethan Poling (106) of East clinched a victory by tech fall, while Clayton Miller (165) secured a win by major decision, and James Moss (215) emerged triumphant with a decisive win by decision. The team's stellar performance sets a strong tone for the season ahead.
