Columbus East High School

The awards banquet for the Columbus East freshman football team took place on Tuesday, October 24th. Notably, Emmett Harden was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year, JD Rotert received the Offensive Player of the Year award, and Dallas Dykstra was presented with the Coach Glen Brown Memorial MVP award. The freshman Olympians concluded their season with an impressive 7-1-1 record and were crowned the 2023 Hoosier Hills Conference Freshman Football Champions.
